Hi, I'm Jillian Barkley;  a spatial designer and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, CA.

My love of spatial design began while studying at Pratt Institute where I received an award for outstanding merit for my thesis on immersive spaces. After completing my masters I freelanced for many years as an Art Director in New York, creating interactive installations for brands like Instagram, adidas, and Sony. I later shifted my focus to environmental design, creating custom interior spaces for commercial sets, hospitality venues, and residential homes.

My practice has yielded custom artwork for clients like The William Vale hotel in Williamsburg and as an artist in residence at Lightbox NYC. Most recently, I have been designing the set of an 18-room immersive theater project opening soon in DTLA, and working on a new retail concept for a collection of non-alcoholic spirits.
